Kit Berry talks at the Dorset Reading Conference in Bovington, Dorset. When she was teaching in Dorset, Kit used to be one of the organisers of this wonderful annual event. Authors are invited to spend the day with a huge group of teachers and librarians and speak about their work. Kit has “minded” such people as Kevin Crossley-Holland, Tim Bowler, William Nicholson and Kaye Umansky in the past. But she never dreamed she’d be returning here one day as an author herself!
